Synthetic chemical fertilizers produce a green lawn, but damage the roots and destroy the soil biology and soil structure. Since they are usually very water soluble, they are carried by rain and/or irrigation water to storm drains, wells or local water supplies.

Synthetic Herbicides, Fungicides and Insecticides that rid the lawn of pests & diseases also eliminate beneficial soil organisms that keep the soil alive and healthy.

Healthy green grass starts with healthy soil. A healthy soil consists of 25% air, 25% water, 45% mineral content and 5% organic matter.
